Colton was in just his underwear and he pointed to his nipples and said: "Mommy, what are these red things on me?"

I said "Well, those are your boy nipples" (I don't know why I didn't just say nipples, it just popped out).

He said "Boy Nickels, what do I need boy nickels for?"

I laughed and said "I don't know, Colt, God just made them". (I'm sure we all want to know why boys have nipples...but even funnier, he called them "nickels". Too cute)

Colt and I were at our friends Chris and Christi's house a couple weeks ago. Colt was playing on the computer and Chris was helping him make a picture on Power Point. Colt decided he wanted to put Mimi's name on it, so he told Chris "It's Cathy...it starts with a C." So, they wrote "Cathy" on the picture. Then he decided he wanted to put Papa's name on it. Chris asked him what his name was, and Colt said "Trees By Frank, how can I help You"!!

For those of you that don't know, my Dad owns his company called "Trees by Frank". He always answers his phone "Trees by Frank, how can I help you."

Evidently, Colt put them all together as his name. We all laughed and laughed...for weeks now!!!

My dad's birthday is on Sunday, and we've decided to put "Happy Birthday Trees by Frank, how can I help you" on his cake!!! I'm sure he will laugh!!!

That's it for funnies for now!!

Things are going well for us. Just busy busy! I started a new job the end of January, and have just finished my 3rd month. I absolutely love it!!!!

Colt was moved to the 4 year old class, and is really enjoying it! I just enrolled him in the private school that my sisters and I went to for elementary school. It's the school that my parents started with our old church. I am very excited about Colton going in the Fall. We have one more year of pre-school, and then start Kindergarten in Fall 2009. I can't believe it!!! He will be 5 in October, so he just missed the cutoff. Oh well, gives him another year to just be a kid and grow and learn!!!

He's been very sweet lately...and had LOTS and LOTS of questions. Questions about anything and everything! It can be very tiring...and often it's hard to figure out how to answer them!!

Like this morning when he was going to the bathroom, he asked me what I used to go to the bathroom. I said I use the toilet. He said "no, what do you use? like my piener, what do you use?" I just said I use what God gave me and left it at that.

I'm sorry, but I'm not ready to tell him about the parts of a girl!! It's hard enough telling him boy parts...but girl parts are a whole different story!! ;)

Oh well, that's it for now. We are having a Garage Sale tomorrow morning. Wish us luck!!!

Quick Funnies!!

(this morning in the bathroom after Colt has gone to the bathroom and I'm helping him get dressed. he has socks, underwear and a shirt on. we are about to put on his pants.)

Colt: rubs his legs up and down "Oh Baby...ohh, my legs are cold"

Mommy: lol

What 4 year old says "oh baby"!?!?!?! lol

Colt: "So where's your dad, Ty?"

Ty: "he works a lot, so he's not here. Where's your dad?"

Colt: (all seriousness) "Well, I opened the window and he fell out and blew away in the wind...and now he's lost." (not even a smirk)

Ty: (just looks at him for a minute like 'what did you just say' and busts out laughing...and Colt joins in)

Eye Boogers Galore!!

Wonderin' how I suddenly had the time to post a million blogs? Well, I have Colton's pink eyes to thank for that! Yup! We are at home today with eye boogers galore! Quite disgusting, if you ask me!! lol So sadly, we have postponed his birthday party, which was supposed to be on Saturday, to the 17th. But, it actually works out quite well. 4 of his best friends weren't going to be able to come...and my sister, Rachel, and Hudson are still trying to get well. So, it will just be better all around!

Please pray that his eye boogers go away and he will be good to go...soon! I hope you all enjoyed all of our fun-filled pictures of late! He has had a fantastic week...with his birthday on Tuesday, and Jesus Celebration all day long on Wednesday!! Now he and I get special Colton-Mommy time at home...which, to be totally honest, I am loving! So, we will take advantage of these eye boogers today and tomorrow...but that's it...I want them gone after that!! lol

Jesus Celebration With Friends

Last night Colton, Papa and I met BJ and Hayden at our church's Jesus Celebration. Colt went as a CARS racecar driver, and Hayden was Ragady Ann! They were precious! So cute! They had so much fun playing all of the games, fishing, petting the animals, riding the train and eating LOTS of suckers...they were Hayden's favorites! Enjoy!
